Built by the person you’ll talk to.
MetlSys isn’t a venture-funded platform with a sales team between you and the people who build it. It’s the work of one developer who has spent years inside steel stockholders’ offices and warehouses, fixing the systems the trade actually runs on.
Mark Brookes, Reload IT Ltd.
Founder, developer and the person who answers support email.
Mark has run Reload IT since 2016, providing IT support across Yorkshire and the Midlands. Before that he was an IT manager responsible for four sites across the UK — infrastructure, telephony and servers for businesses that stop making money the moment a system goes down.
Steel stockholders have been Reload IT clients for years. That’s where MetlSys comes from: watching offices retype delivery notes into one system, certificates into another, and invoices into a third, then hunting the filing cabinet when the audit came. The trade’s software was built decades ago, and it shows. MetlSys is the ground-up rebuild.
There is no sales team and no offshore helpdesk. The person who demos the system is the person who built it, and the person who fixes a problem is the same one who replies to the email.

Three rules the product doesn't break.
They're on this page so you can hold us to them.
Honest claims only
If it's a CSV export, the site says CSV export, not "seamless integration". If a certification isn't held, the security page says so. The product page and the contract should read like the same company wrote them.
AI proposes, people confirm
AI reads the paperwork because retyping is where errors breed. But nothing posts to stock, orders or the ledger without a person confirming it. Decision-support, not decision-making.
Built and hosted in the UK
Developed in South Yorkshire, primary database in London. The trade this serves is British; its data and its support hours should be too.
A direct line, not a ticket queue.
Email support during UK business hours, answered by the developer. Implementation runs as a staged migration with parallel running, not a big-bang cutover.
Moving off a legacy system? The migration review is free and honest: what moves cleanly, what needs work, and how long each stage takes.
How migration works →Talk to the person who built it.
A demo runs on your workflow, not a canned script: goods-in, certificates, despatch, invoicing.
