1.1 This policy explains how Reload IT Ltd uses cookies and similar technologies, such as browser local storage and session tokens, on the MetlSys application and the MetlSys / Reload IT websites. This policy refers to all of these as “cookies”.

2. What cookies are

2.1 Cookies are small text files placed on your device. We also use browser local storage and similar technologies; this policy refers to all of these as “cookies”.

3. This marketing website (metlsys.com)

3.1 The public marketing site you are reading sets only strictly-necessary storage and no advertising or tracking cookies. Specifically:

• A single record of your cookie choice (browser local storage) so we don’t ask again.
• If you opt out of analytics, one further local storage entry recording that preference.
• Fonts are self-hosted from our own domain, so viewing the site makes no request to Google or any font provider.
• Cloudflare Turnstile on the contact form, a privacy-first anti-spam check that protects the form from bots. It is a strictly-necessary security measure, does not use tracking cookies, and only runs when you use the form.
• Vercel Web Analytics to count visits and page views so we can improve the site. It is cookieless: it stores nothing on your device, does not use cross-site tracking or fingerprinting, and does not collect personal data. See section 3.3.
• If you use the sign-in box, your session is established on the application at app.metlsys.com (see section 4).

3.2 Because we set no cookies that require consent here, no cookie banner opt-in is required to use this website. We show a short notice so you know where to find this policy.

3.3 Analytics on this website

We use Vercel Web Analytics, a privacy-friendly, cookieless measurement tool provided by Vercel Inc. It counts page views and visits using a temporary hash of the incoming request rather than a cookie or persistent identifier, so it cannot follow you across sites or sessions. It stores nothing on your device, and we rely on our legitimate interest in understanding site usage; no analytics data is used to identify you.

You can opt out at any time: choose Cookie settings and tick “Don’t count my visit”. We remember that choice on this device (in a single local storage entry) and it takes effect straight away.

4. The MetlSys application (app.metlsys.com)

4.1 Strictly necessary

Essential for the Service to function; these do not require consent:

• Authentication & session: keep you signed in and secure your session (Supabase auth tokens). You stay signed in until you sign out; access tokens refresh automatically in the background.
• Security: protect against cross-site request forgery and abuse.
• Payment: cookies set by Stripe during checkout for fraud prevention and payment processing.

4.2 Functional

• Preferences: remember settings such as table layouts, filters and interface preferences. These stay in your browser until you change them or clear your browser data.

4.3 Analytics

The application uses Vercel Web Analytics, the same privacy-friendly, cookieless measurement described in section 3.3. It counts page views and visits without cookies, cross-site tracking or personal data. We use no advertising cookies in the application.

5. Managing cookies

5.1 The website currently sets no cookies that require consent, so the cookie banner is a notice rather than a consent form. If we introduce non-essential cookies in future, the banner will offer accept and decline choices before any are set. You can reopen the notice at any time via the Cookie settings link in the footer, and you can also control cookies through your browser settings; blocking strictly-necessary cookies will prevent the Service from working correctly.
